
This Sauteed Green beans with Garlic and mushrooms recipe is super tasty and easy. I like to make this side dish to accompany chicken, fish or steak. On my YouTube channel I show you how to make this side dish from start to finish. This goes great with any protein and it’s also super fresh and healthy.
- Dice ½ of 1 medium onion
- 2 cups of Shiitake mushrooms
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- Slice 2-3 roma tomatoes
Steam Green beans
- In a pot bring to boil 4 cups of water
- Bowl for 10 minutes and strain
- Add to ice bath to stop cooking
Saute vegetables
- In a large saucepan heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Saute onions and garlic
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Add in steamed green beans
- Add italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste to the pan
- Add shiitake mushrooms
- Add roma tomatoes to pan and let simmer for 5-10 minutes
